Reproduction antique cobalt blue glass inkwell.
Very heavy thick glass each with charming subtle signs of being hand made.
The hinged shiny lid is nickel plated brass.
Inkwells were used as you might imagine to store ink to write with. Someone would dip their writing utensil in the ink before writing. Charming small size on this piece making for a attractive display.
